Get notified when package dependencies release an update
A free, five-minute setup that turns the GitHub repos you star into a release feed — so you know the moment a dependency ships an update.

Problem
Keeping package dependencies up to date matters — updates carry bug fixes, improvements and security patches. But it gets hectic as a project grows: more dependencies, and keeping track of every package release becomes time-consuming.
What if you were notified automatically whenever a package released a new update, and could decide from its release notes whether to upgrade it or leave it as it is?
Introducing Banditore
Banditore retrieves new releases from your starred GitHub repositories and generates an Atom feed with them — and it's completely free.
Account setup
Star the repositories whose updates matter to you, then create an account on Banditore using GitHub — make sure it's the same account you used to star the repos.

Once the login succeeds, reload the page and it will show you the latest releases. If it doesn't, log out and log back in.

Notification setup
Copy the feed link Banditore provides on the dashboard, then install the RSS Feed Reader extension in your browser. Once it's installed, open the extension's settings page, paste the feed link into the search field and click search.

When the search completes it shows the feed info. Click Follow and the feed settings pop up — set them up to your preference.

Now sit back and relax. When a new release or tag is available you'll know right away, and clicking any feed update takes you to the official GitHub release page with its release notes.
