An internal dashboard where CareerLabs' operations, mentors, counsellors and content teams run each student's journey from onboarding to admission, and manage all the content behind the LMS and the Elev8 mobile app. A large React app of about 870 source files.
The problem
Each student passes through onboarding calls, strategy sessions, profile analysis, applications and post-admit services, handled by different teams. Every stage has its own documents, meeting notes and deadlines, and the LMS and mobile app need a steady stream of new content.
What I built
- Student journey by stage — onboarding, strategy sessions, Profile Gap Analysis, applications and post-admit — each with its own document workflow, meeting minutes, file uploads and a task list for the day.
- Profile Gap Analysis: detailed academic forms (10th, 12th, diploma, semesters, backlogs), test results with graphs, CV review with comments, a similarity check, call notes and report uploads.
- Profile mentoring and school research: mentor allocation, university and grad-school shortlists, B-school data, and master lists for intakes, degrees and departments.
- LMS content management: courses, concepts, passages, study plans, materials and a question bank, with tests added one at a time, bulk-uploaded or copied, plus aptitude results and feedback overviews.
- Mobile app management: the in-app feed, placement drives, webinars, testimonials, career-track and role videos, push notifications and app-version control.
- Sales and operations: recording program sales, premium and product-based user lists, call scheduling, role-based user management and a blacklist.
- Reports with Excel/CSV import and export, PDF generation and ApexCharts / Chart.js dashboards; rich editing with a custom CKEditor 5 build and TinyMCE, document viewers and drag-and-drop uploads.
Outcome
- One place for every team to run the student journey and publish content to the LMS and the Elev8 app.
- Shipped as a Docker image behind nginx, with SonarQube code-quality checks.
